March 28, 2025 – Dr. Juvie Bacani, (Faculty Member, College of Business), presented her research, “Integrated Industry-Based Academic Model for Marketing Education: A Value Innovation for 69ڽ,” at the 2025 National Marketing Educators Congress, held at José Rizal University (JRU) in Manila.
Dr. Bacani introduced an innovative framework bridging the gap between industry and academia, emphasizing the need for marketing education to be industry-responsive, innovative, and aligned with real-world business demands. By integrating industry partnerships into academic curricula, the model aims to enhance student competencies, employability, and the overall effectiveness of marketing education. Her presentation also sparked insightful discussions among educators, researchers, and industry practitioners. Her work was praised for its practical applications and potential to transform marketing education into a more dynamic, experience-driven learning process.
In recognition of her leadership and dedication to advancing marketing education, Dr. Bacani was formally inducted as the Regional President of the Philippine Association of Marketing Educators (PAMRE). This appointment reinforces her role in fostering stronger collaboration between academic institutions and the business sector.
The 2025 National Marketing Educators Congress served as a vital platform for knowledge-sharing, academic collaboration, and industry engagement.
